Rules and Expectations:


Be on time. Be ready to learn. Think.

You can get a lot out of this class if you put a lot of thought and effort into it.

Every day when you walk into class, please read the day's objective(s) and agenda, then begin the Opener.
Also, PLEASE:
  • Be respectful toward your classmates, your classroom, your teacher, your school, and yourself.
  • Say at least "hello" and "goodbye" to me (your teacher).
  • Ask questions when you are confused or interested.
  • Look at and listen to whoever is speaking: pay close attention to every word spoken in class, whether it is being said by a teacher or student.
  • Write important information down.
  • Be ready to answer when called on.
  • Speak up: everyone talks every day - to each other, to me, even to yourself.

Please do not:
  • Sleep.
  • Let your cell phone get in the way of your learning.
  • Require a seating change.
  • Eat or drink during class (except water)
  • Listen to your iPod or MP3 player
  • Interfere with another student's opportunity to learn and the teacher's ability to teach
